Laborers’ Local 310 was chartered on November 9, 1925. Today, it represents over 2,000 members and serves Cleveland, Cuyahoga, Geauga, and Lake counties. Members of the Union work in a variety of construction-related crafts, such as carpenters, cement masons, bricklayers, plasterers, floor layers, operating engineers, plumbers, asbestos removal specialists, and workers in hazardous waste disposal.
This local union is an active participant and supporter of the Ohio Laborers’ Instruction Center, where its members get training in the newest building methods and certification programs. Together with the Construction Employers Association, Local 310 has created a unique apprenticeship program to address the demands of the 21st century.
