Bricklayers Local 8 (New Brunswick)

Established in November 1889, Bricklayers Local 8 (New Brunswick) represents bricklayers and allied craftworkers in the provinces of New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island in Canada. Its territorial jurisdiction is divided into three chapters, including Saint John, Moncton/Fredericton, and Prince Edward Island.

The union represents several hundred apprentice and journeyman bricklayers, refractory workers, cement masons, tile setters, terrazzo workers, stone masons, block layers, mason helpers, welders, and pre-cast panel installers.
