Chartered in 1995, Laborers’ Local 1095 is a 900-member union that serves Central and Southwest Texas, including Coryell, Bell, Williamson, Travis, Kendall, Comal, Caldwell, Aransas, San Patricio, Nueces, and a number of other counties.
The union is in charge of overseeing the collective bargaining agreements at different government buildings, hospitals, and base-wide custodial staff members, including those who handle food, housekeeping, floor care, grounds maintenance, and some hazardous chemical disposal.
Additionally, it serves a variety of construction contracts in Austin, New Braunfels, and San Antonio.
Local 1095 provides a range of advantages to its members, including education at SouthWest Training School, a secure pension plan, health insurance, and some other benefit programs.
