IUOE Local 926 represents approximately 1,250 operating engineers, including Heavy Equipment Operators, Crane Operators, Steel Erectors, Backhoe and Excavator Operators, Caisson Drill Rig Operators, and many other trades. Its members work on various projects throughout Georgia.
Established in 1926 as an affiliate of the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 926 offers a top-notch training program, the Joint Apprenticeship & Skill Upgrade Program, for new members and ongoing education classes for experienced employees.
