IUOE Local 1 is a labor union that represents over 450 experienced, qualified Stationary Engineers in the state of Colorado. They perform maintenance and repair of all HVAC equipment, boiler operation, lighting, plumbing, welding, painting, carpentry, or in general, all trade-related maintenance and repair.
Working under the parent exemption of the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 1 is dedicated to helping its members by securing better and safer working conditions, medical coverage, secure retirement plans, a fair collective bargaining process, access to first-rate training, and other benefits.
