Ironworkers Local 9 is a mixed local that represents nearly 150 talented professionals who serve the entire Niagara county as well as parts of Orleans and Erie counties in New York. Its members build bridges, schools, universities, manufacturing plants, stadiums, hospitals, office buildings, power plants, etc.
Local 9 is located in Niagara Falls, NY, and is a branch of the International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental, and Reinforcing Iron Workers.
Members of Local 9 have access to a variety of pension plans, health and welfare plans, annuity, and completely free journeyman upgrade courses. In addition, all interested workers may enroll in the Iron Workers Local 9 apprenticeship program for hands-on and technical skill development.
