Located in Louisville, Kentucky, Ironworkers Local 70 represents over 650 trained craftsmen who have been involved in the construction of some of the most recognizable buildings and structures in the area, including The Lincoln, Lewis and Clark, and Madison/Milton Bridges, The Yum Center, Omni Hotel, Cardinal Stadium, Toyota Georgetown Assembly Plant, and many more.
They specialize in the installation of Structural Steel and Reinforcing Steel, including Post Tensioning, as well as Ornamental Ironwork such as Curtain Wall, Sheeting, Ornamental railing, stairs, catwalks, fencing, and more.
The Local 70 Training Center is approved by Kentucky and US DOL and is also a Certified AWS Training and Testing Facility, ensuring that all ironworkers are competent and properly qualified.
