IBEW Local 77, chartered on August 28, 1897, is a union that represents nearly 7,000 members who work in Electrical Construction Industry in numerous counties across Idaho and Washington.
Its membership includes a variety of classifications within the electrical industry, in particular Journeyman Linemen, Journeyman Metermen, Journeyman Cablesplicers, Power Dispatchers, Call Center Responders, Journeyman Substation Wiremen, and Journeyman Hydro Operators. Local Union also represents Journeyman Tree Trimmers, Groundman, and Flaggers.
To ensure workers are properly trained for the job before them, Local 77 provides its members with the appropriate training. All members of the Local Union may apply for training and apprenticeship programs at the Washington State Labor Education and Research Center.
