IBEW Local 46 is a 6,200-member union that serves King, Kitsap, Jefferson and Clallam Counties, Washington. It has jurisdiction over all Inside, Radio-Television Broadcasting, Radio-Television Service, Sound and Communication, Alarm and Signal, Cable Splicers, Electric Signs, Electronic Technicians, Marine, Professional Engineers, and Technicians (PET) work.
Local Union’s main areas of work include the promotion of reasonable methods of work, settling all disputes between employers and employees by arbitration, provision of secure employment, adequate wages, and so forth.
Additionally, all members of IBEW Local 46 may apply for medical insurance, pension plans, and continuing education provided by the Puget Sound Electrical Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (PSEJATC).
