IBEW Local 405 was founded in 1911 to assist electrical workers in eastern Iowa in bargaining for better working conditions and a higher standard of life. It represents nearly 700 electricians who serve the counties of Benton, Iowa, Johnson, Jones, Linn, and Poweshiek in the state of Iowa.
