IBEW Local 343 was granted its charter to represent construction electricians in an area encompassing 26 counties across southern Minnesota from the Mississippi River to the South Dakota border. Local 343 works with its contractors to provide a joint apprenticeship training program as well as ongoing training to ensure that its members are highly qualified and skilled.
The union aims to provide good wages and benefits, ensure worker safety and security, and provide opportunities for advancement to its members. It is committed to ensuring that its members work in safe environments and receive fair compensation for their work.
