UA Local 74 is a union of nearly 850 highly skilled pipefitters, welders, plumbers, HVAC service mechanics, and instrument technicians that work in New Castle and Kent Counties in the State of Delaware. It was established in October 1988 in Wilmington, Delaware, when Pipefitters Local 80 and Plumbers Local 26 were merged by the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipefitting Industry (UA).
Local 74 Training Center offers a top-notch Apprenticeship program for entry-level workers as well as Continuing Education Classes for Journeyman. All members get various benefits including Health Plan, a Defined Contribution, and a Defined Benefit Pension Plan.
