UA Local 725 stands for nearly 1,200 skilled craftsmen in the South Florida area who work in the air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical systems industry. Its work covers installation, retrofit, service, maintenance, and repair of water and sewer treatment plants, fuel piping installations for airports, ink piping installations for newspaper plants, plus many others.
Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, and Pipefitting Education Center (ARPEC) offers a five-year Apprenticeship program and training for members of Local 725. Local Union also provides its members with a number of benefits packages such as Medical, Dental, Pension, 401(a) Plans, Disability, and Life Insurance.
