UA Local 690 was chartered on March 25, 1931, and currently represents over 2,200 Plumbers who work in the heavy industrial, commercial and residential sectors of the construction industry. They serve Berks, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Lehigh, Montgomery, Northampton, and Philadelphia Counties, and portions of Lebanon and Carbon Counties in Pennsylvania.
Local 690 members are currently working in many areas such as Bio Research Labs, Chemical Processing Plants, Educational Institutions, Hotels, Military Installations, Power Plants, Strip Malls, Sports Facilities and Arenas, and Water and Waste Treatment Facilities, etc.
