UA Local 367 craftsmen consist of over 700 experienced plumbers, pipefitters, welders, HVAC technicians, water and wastewater, and natural gas utility workers across Alaska. The Local Union was founded on July 2, 1938, as a part of the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipefitting Industry.
Local 367 operates its own Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee (JATC) that offers an Apprenticeship Program teaching plumbers, pipefitters, welders, and service technicians the trade. There is also a set of other benefits such as medical coverage, welfare plan, pension benefits, legal services, etc.
