Plumbers UA Local 200 has jurisdiction for all plumbing work in Nassau and Suffolk Counties in New York. Currently, the union has approximately 1,000 members and 70 signatory contractors that are actively engaged in the installation of plumbing and gas fitting for industrial, commercial, and municipal construction, alteration work, residential construction, and transportation fuel facilities.
Local 200 offers extensive apprentice and journeyman training programs to its members, allowing them to maintain and improve the skills required to compete in the plumbing industry. The union also offers Health and Welfare Plan, Prescription Drugs benefits, Dental coverage, Eye Care, Pension Plans, etc
