Laborers’ Local 304

Since 1929, Laborers’ Local 304 has played an essential role in Alameda County. Currently, it stands for approximately 4300 men and women who perform all kinds of tasks necessary to build the county it serves.

The main areas of work are to provide dispatch services, help members with employment-related disputes, represent members during contract negotiations, help members learn skills related to the labor trades, encourage members to get involved in the community, and promote the trades.

Local 304 offers its members a variety of training programs to make sure that everyone is capable of doing work of the highest caliber. They include LIUNA Training and Education Fund, NCDCL Scholarship, Northern California Laborers’ Training & Apprenticeship, and others.
