Laborers’ Local 204 has served the construction and maintenance needs of the citizens of Clay, Owen, Greene, Putnam, Sullivan, Parke, Vigo (including the city of Terre Haute), Vermillion, Fountain, and Warren counties in the Indiana area since 1934. It currently represents nearly 700 members.
Members of the union are responsible for building much of the infrastructure that the community relies on every day. They build and maintain roads and bridges, hospitals and schools, power plants, and water treatment facilities.
All the privileges of union membership are available to Local 204 members, including competitive pay, overtime pay, top-notch training, fringe benefits such as a health plan covering more than 20,000 Indiana laborers and their families, a prescription drug program, retiree insurance, and a pension plan.
