Laborers’ Local 20

Cement And Concrete Workers Local 20, created on May 16, 1929, as of today represents approximately 660 construction professionals. This union, headquartered in Long Island City, NY, serves the Bronx, Kings, New York, Queens and Richmond counties of New York.

Members of Local 20 are skilled laborers who use a wide range of skills in many different jobs. Its members specialize in material transport, mortar care, cutting, concrete conduits, plies and pile caps, gunite work and all other laboring work in connection with cement and concrete work and its branches.

Members can also benefit from healthcare, pension and annuity programs that are provided through the Cement and Concrete Workers District Council Welfare Fund. Additionally, all laborers are eligible to apply for training in Cement & Concrete Workers Training and Education Fund.
