IUOE Local 4 is a labor union representing around 5,000 highly-skilled heavy equipment operators, mechanics, surveyors, equipment house employees, and wastewater technicians throughout Eastern Massachusetts, Eastern New Hampshire, and the state of Maine.
Local 4 provides numerous apprenticeship and training opportunities at its facilities in Canton and Medway, Massachusetts. Members receive training, licenses, and certifications needed to upgrade existing skills and acquire new ones. It also offers several benefit programs to its members, including Health and Welfare, Annuity, Savings, and Pension plans.
