Ironworkers Local 399 is a mixed local representing more than 1,100 trained workers who build and maintain Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cumberland, Gloucester, Salem, Cape May, Ocean, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, and Somerset counties in New Jersey.
It was established by the International Association of Bridge, Structural, and Ornamental Ironworkers on August 3, 1925. On January 1, 2017, two other locals, Local 68 and Local 350, were merged into Local 399 by the International Association.
Through the Local 10 Training Center, all union members receive access to extensive 3-year Apprenticeship programs, journeyman upgrade classes, and numerous certifications. Moreover, its members receive a number of benefits including complete Health and Pension plans, Eye and Dental care, Life insurance, Annuity, and more.
