IBEW Local 728 stands for approximately 1,500 men and women who serve Broward, Palm Beach, Martin, Hendry, Glades, St. Lucie, and Okeechobee Counties, Florida. Its jurisdiction covers all Inside, Electrical Manufacturing, Radio-Television Service, Sound and Public Address, and Professional, Technical, and Clerical work in the counties it serves.
IBEW Local 728 is a child organization that operates under the parent exemption of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW).
Local Union is committed to providing excellence in education in order to ensure the highest quality of trained electricians, installers, apprentices, and technicians in the Electricity Industry. All training programs are available through the JATC program.
