IBEW Local 55 union, founded on April 5, 1897, represents and serves the needs of over 1,000 working men and women in all but seven of Iowa’s 99 counties. Its members are skilled in various areas such as outside line construction, utility work, tree trimming, telephone, telegraph, municipal, and CATV construction.
