IBEW Local 1245, chartered in 1941, is a union that represents over 20,500 members who work in Electrical Construction Industry in numerous counties across California and Nevada. Its members’ main areas of work include Outside, Utility, Tree Trimming, Cable Television, Telephone, Electrical Manufacturing, and Government work.
In cooperation with the California-Nevada JATC, IBEW Local 1245 provides its members with a variety of training programs to make sure that everyone is capable of doing work of the highest caliber. Among them are continuing education classes, including OSHA 10, First Aid & CPR, Transformer Review, and Crane Certification. Moreover, all workers have access to different grants and scholarships, other financial aid, life insurance, and retirement plans.
