Carpenters Local 327 is located in Dorchester, Massachusetts. The union’s jurisdiction covers Boston (excluding Allston, Brighton, Charlestown, and East Boston), as well as Boston Harbor Islands. It is a labor union that represents nearly 3,000 skilled carpenters who work in various sectors of the construction industry.
The union is a part of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America and the North Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters (NASRCC), which represents over 30,000 carpenters, pile drivers, shop and millmen, millwrights, and floor coverers working in Massachusetts, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont.
