Carpenters Local 291 is a labor union that represents nearly 1,600 Carpenters who work on various commercial construction projects in New York State. It is a division of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America and the North Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters which represents over 30,000 fellow members in New York and New England.
Local 291 provides its members with access to comprehensive training in Commercial and Residential Carpentry, Floorcovering, Pile Driving, and Mill Cabinet for both apprentices and journeymen through the North Atlantic States Carpenters Training Fund.
