Plumbers and Steamfitters UA Local 598 represents nearly 1,300 union-trained craftsmen who serve 21 counties in Eastern Washington and Eastern Oregon. Its jurisdiction goes from the Canadian border to below John Day Oregon and from the Cascade Mountains to the Idaho Border.
The Local Union members work in paper mills, food processing plants, cold storage facilities, data centers, silicon plants, chemical plants, gas plants, carbon fiber plants, and miscellaneous manufacturing facilities.
The primary goal of Local 598 is to enhance the quality of life of its members.
