UA Local 375 has over 600 skilled Plumbers, Welders, Fitters, and Service Technicians who serve numerous communities across Alaska. Established in 1946, Local 375 is part of the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipefitting Industry, representing 330,000 members and over 40,000 apprentices in the United States and Canada.
The training for both Journeymen and Apprentices is provided by the Fairbanks, Alaska Area Plumbers, and Pipefitting JATC, through a 5-year apprenticeship program. Additionally, its membership gets high-quality and extensive benefits programs, such as health and welfare plans, dental and eye care, pension plans, etc.
