The Plumbers & Steamfitters UA Local 166 was chartered on June 12, 1899, and currently has over 900 skilled Plumbers, Pipefitters, and HVAC Technicians. Its jurisdiction covers Adams, Allen, Blackford, Dekalb, Elkhart, Grant, Huntington, Kosciusko, Lagrange, Noble, Steuben, Wabash, Wells, and Whitley Counties in Northeast Indiana.
In collaboration with The Mechanical Contractors Association of Indiana, Local 166 trains qualified tradespeople in the fields of plumbing, pipe fitting, and HVAC technicians. The union offers a variety of benefits to its members, including Health & Welfare Plans, Disability Benefits, Death Benefits, Pensions, and Annuities.
