Millwrights Local 96 was chartered on January 24, 2011, and represents over 800 members throughout Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana. It was established as a part of the Northwest Carpenters Union and the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America (UBCJA).
Local 96 partners with the Northwest Carpenters Union to offer a comprehensive range of training opportunities to its members. These include apprenticeships, advanced courses, and leadership training, which are available at regional centers and the renowned Carpenters International Training Center.
