Carpenters Local 439 is a labor union that represents carpenters and other construction workers. The union is affiliated with the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America (UBC) and the Eastern Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters.
The union has more than 900 members who work on various projects in Cabell, Mingo, Wayne, Fayette, Greenbrier, McDowell, and 15 more counties in West Virginia.
Carpenters Local 439 provides its members with comprehensive training in various areas of the carpentry trade, such as commercial and residential carpentry, floor laying, cabinet making, pile driving, and trade show carpentry, through the EASRCC training centers.
