Carpenters Local Union 276 has almost 2,000 members and represents 12 counties in Western New York. It was created on April 5, 2011, when the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America (UBCJA) combined former Local 66, Local 85, and Local 289.
Through the North Atlantic States Carpenters Training Fund (NASCTF), Local 276 provides an extensive four-year Apprentice Program that is a combination of classroom and shop learning as well as job site employment. Additionally, the union provides numerous benefits, such as family-sustaining wages, secure pension plans, and health & welfare insurance.
