Laborers’ Local 213

Laborers’ Local 213 currently represents approximately 600 members who work in the construction industry in the Northeast Indiana area serving Noble, Steuben, De Kalb, Whitley, Allen, Wabash, Huntington, Wells, and Adams Counties.

Members of the union are responsible for building much of the infrastructure that the community relies on every day. They are proficient in Asbestos Abatement, Asphalt Paving, Building Restoration, Drilling, Excavating & Sewer, Masonry, Striping & Sign, Traffic Control, Waterproofing, and so on.

Members of Local 213 are eligible to apply for the three-year apprenticeship program run by the Indiana Laborers’ Training Trust Fund. The fund offers training to assist professionals in the construction sector in improving their abilities and to prepare apprentices in the building trades for their first jobs. Additionally, members of this union may apply for other benefits programs such as health insurance and pension program.
