Carpenters Local 2232 is a labor union representing nearly 1,200 Carpenters and Millwrights in South Texas. It is a branch of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America and Southern States Millwright Regional Council which consists of more than 5,000 highly skilled and productive millwrights across 11 southern states.
Through the Central South Carpenters & Millwrights Training Trust Fund, Local 2232 offers high-quality carpenter and millwright apprenticeship and journeyman upgrade training programs that focus on safety, technical, communication, and leadership skills. It also provides its members with a set of benefits including health & welfare benefits, and several pension and retirement plans.
