Ironworkers Local 15 located in Hartford, Connecticut, was chartered in March of 1902, by the International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental, and Reinforcing Iron Workers. It currently represents over 500 highly skilled Structural, Ornamental, Reinforcing, and Rigging Ironworkers.
The local union members have built a variety of projects in the area including the Hartford public schools, minor league baseball stadium, numerous bridge projects, Rentschler Field football stadium, powerplants like Millstone Nuclear and Plainfield, and two of the largest casinos in the world – Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun.
