Laborers’ Local 999

Wreckers And General Construction Local 999 serves nearly 600 construction professionals in Agawam, Belchertown, Blandford, Brimfield, Chester, Chicopee, East Longmeadow, Granby, and 20 more counties in Massachusetts. It was chartered on May 13, 1938, by the Laborers’ International Union of North America.

Local 999 is affiliated with Massachusetts and Northern New England Laborers’ District Council (a subsidiary of LiUNA), which represents 30 Local Unions and over 20,000 laborers and public service employees in this region.

Members of Laborers’ Local 999 are eligible for healthcare and pension programs offered by the Massachusetts Laborers’ Health & Welfare Fund and the Massachusetts Laborers’ Pension Fund, respectively.

In cooperation with the New England Laborers’ Training Academy, Local union provides new opportunities for its members through comprehensive and high-quality education programs.
