UA Local 85 membership is made up of more than 1,300 skilled Plumbers, Steamfitters & HVACR Service techs who work in the heavy industrial, commercial and residential sectors of the construction industry. They work in various facilities including Chemical Plants, Health Care Facilities, Hi-Rise Apartment Buildings, High-Tech Facilities, Pharmaceutical Plants, Power Plants, Schools, Single-Family Homes, etc.
Its jurisdiction covers Arenac, Bay, Clare, Gladwin, Isabella, Midland, Saginaw, Tuscola, Alcona, and 20 more counties across Michigan.
