Iron Workers Local 172 is a trade union located in Columbus, Ohio, that represents nearly 1,000 talented and hard-working craftsmen in 25 counties in Ohio. Members of this union specialize in the construction of steel structures and have contributed to building the iconic structures in the city’s skyline, including Ohio Stadium and St. John Arena.
Established in 1915, Local 172 is affiliated with the International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental, and Reinforcing Ironworkers.
