Founded in 1912, IBEW Local 340 serves nearly 2,000 working men and women in Alpine, Amador, Butte, Colusa, El Dorado, Glenn, Lassen, Nevada, and 10 more counties in California. They are responsible for all Inside, Sound and Communications, and Radio-Television Service work. Local 6 is a part of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW).
