Carpenters Union Local 432 is a labor union that represents carpenters and other construction workers in southwestern Pennsylvania. The union is affiliated with the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America (UBC) and the Eastern Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters. The union has more than 4,000 members who work on various projects in eight counties: Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Greene, Washington, and Westmoreland.
Local 432 provides its members with training opportunities through the Keystone Mountain Lakes Carpenters Training Fund, which offers apprenticeship programs and journeyman upgrade courses.
It also negotiates collective bargaining agreements with employers to secure fair wages, benefits, and working conditions for its members. Among them are health insurance, a pension plan, an annuity fund, a vacation fund, and legal services.
