The union represents about 5,100 qualified men and women in the Electrical Construction Industry. Its jurisdiction covers Inside, Radio-Television Broadcast, Radio-Television and Appliance Service, Electrical Manufacturing and Sound and Communication, Installation and Maintenance work.
In conjunction with the Oregon-Columbia Chapter of the National Electrical Contractors Association, Local 48 offers its members one of the top-ranked apprenticeship training programs in the country.
