IBEW Local 369 was founded more than a century ago and now has over 3000 members representing employees in various parts of the electrical industry, including construction, utilities, maintenance, manufacturing, broadcasting, and others. It serves numerous counties in Southern Indiana and Kentucky.
The local works to ensure that its members can collectively bargain for better wages, benefits, and rights.
Furthermore, the IBEW and NECA collaborated to sponsor a demanding and well-respected apprenticeship program – the Louisville Electrical Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee. The main aim of this program is to supply the highly skilled workforce required to meet customer expectations and to guarantee job satisfaction for electrical employees (LEJATC).
