Chartered on June 11, 1900, IBEW Local 130 staffs over 1,500 electricians for commercial and industrial construction projects and electrical maintenance positions throughout Greater New Orlean and Southeast Louisiana.
Its members have been a part of building some of the most significant projects in the region such as the Louisiana Superdome, Smoothie King Center, Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, and Louis Armstrong International Airport Terminal.
