Chartered on September 1, 1896, Plumbers and Steamfitters UA Local 157 represents over 1,700 skilled workers. It has jurisdiction over the building trades in all or portions of 16 counties in Indiana and six counties in Illinois and gas distribution over most of the State of Indiana and all of the State of Kentucky.
Local 157 offers its members various options for scholarships, health and welfare, and pension benefits. Additionally, all workers who are interested to gain or develop hands-on and technical skills may apply for a training program at the Local 157 Training Center.
